We looked long and far to find a chocolate male for our breeding program.  After a few years of searching we feel lucky to have Rocco as part of the Top Dog Retrievers team.  Rocco was bred by David Chabot, and came to us via Julie Mack of High Voltage Retrievers.  Rocco’s currently in training for his Senior Hunt.  He comes from a long line of field trial competitors.  Both his sire Sir Winston of Oak Hill-Open Win and his dam Albeck’s B.D.-Derby Jam are currently running trials.  Rocco’s sire is the son of FC-AFC Tiger Mc Bunn and FC-AFC Gator PT’s Sweet Potato Pie.  Rocco’s dam is the daughter of FC Running with the Devil and AFC Longshot Carolina Dreaming.  Rocco’s third generation only has one great-grand parent that is not titled with AKC, CKC or UKC.  WOW!

As mentioned before Rocco is currently in training for his AKC Senior Hunt title.  Rocco is doing so well; all of his achievements look effortless.  Despite the high powered pedigree that Rocco boasts, he is the mellowest sire that we have here at Top Dog Retrievers.   Rocco has an impressive pedigree, but what is most impressive about Rocco, is his fantastic temperament, great looks and huge desire to please.  Rocco’s a very loving and loyal 77 lb retriever that is 27 inches at the point of the shoulder.  Rocco is truly man’s best friend.
