Troy is a handsome 73 pound enthusiastic working retriever.  With his thick deep yellow coat, Troy is a great cold weather retriever that camouflages well in the grass lands.  Troy was easily trained and has a great deal of drive but is still easily controlled.  He has an impressive pedigree with numerous Field and National Field Champions. Both of his parents are titled hunters. His sire, Golden States Wise Guy, is one of the most successful and well known Master Hunters in the country.

Layla was born here at Top Dog Retrievers.  She is the daughter of our very own Titus and Scout.  Layla's beautiful fox red coloring made her stand out from day one.  She has continued to keep our attention with her attentiveness, desire to please and retrieve.  Her hunt training progressed rapidly due to to her exceptional qualities.  As a result she was able to earn her first hunt title and just 13 months of age.
