Troy’s pedigree show the thoughtfulness that went into his breeding. Troy’s sire, Golden States Wise Guy-MH is a long time favorite of Ducks Unlimited Magazine catalog covers. Golden States Wise Guy, call name Tucker, is the son of FC-NAFC MD’s Cotton Pick’n Cropper, who needs no introduction. Troy has inherited that boldness and style that has made Tucker such a wonder to watch compete over the years. The tremendous addition from Troy’s dam Joy Itchin To Go-JH make Troy that much strongerof a dog. Her sire Dar’s Slick Willy-SH is the son of FC-AFC Sand River Simba, while her dam is a daughter of FC-AFC Riparian Roughrider.

Just as his genetic code dictates, Troy is a handsome 73 pound enthusiastic working retriever that stands 25 inches at the point of the shoulder. With his thick, deep yellow coat, Troy is a great cold weather retriever that camouflages well in the grass lands. Troy was easily trained and has a great deal of drive but is still easily controlled. Whether at the hunting lodge, riding in the fire engine with my husband Caleb, or doing his part to bring in limits of Geese in Alberta Canada, Troy fits in perfectly. Troy is a true all-around Labrador.
