Training Inspiration – Famous Dogs

It is fun to look to movies and real life dog stories for inspiration.

Uggie, a Jack Russel Terrier, from “The Artist” (2011) is one of the most famous dog actors of today. Uggie has a list of acting rolls including “Water for Elephants” (2011). Did you know Uggie has his paw prints at The Chinese Theatre at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles along with some of the most famous actors of our time including Marilyn Monroe and Robert Downey Junior?

The actor Steve Zahn plays the dad to Greg Heffley in the movie.

Dove helped to train the star Oliver in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days” 2012 Oliver plays “Sweetie”.

The most challenging dogs are sometimes the most capable. Uggie, according to his IMBb bio was almost taken to the pound before he was rescued by his owner Omar Van Muller.
