Are You Wondering Which Order to Teach the Lessons?
With so many training videos offered in this program, you may be wondering, “Where do I start?”
Here’s the lesson order Dove recommends, keeping in mind that you and your dog should successfully complete the more basic option of a behavior, before the more advanced option (.i.e. down, before a down-stay)
Q. How many lessons can they learn at a time?
AN. That really depends on the dog. Ideally, try to train 3 sessions of 10 min each session a day. In each session, pick something important to work on (like a recall, or a stay) and then pick something completely different and fun to work on (like sit-pretty), so 2 lessons per session.
- Recall / Come When Called
- Sit
- Stay
- Down Stay
- Long Line Recall
- Loose Leash Walking
- Boundary Training
- Leave It
- Heel (Sneak-a-Way Game)
